Wind Farm component hoisting project in Turpan and Dabancheng
Located in the northern China National Highway 312 of Turpan, the Xiaocaohu wind farm covers an area of 1,000 square kilometers and has 10 billion kilowatt-hours of wind energy per year, wind power is stable throughout the year. The overhaul for the Xinjiang Turpan, Dabanpian District of the wind farm parts of the lifting work, including the blade, generators, hub, gear box, spindle, transmission chain, engine room and other lifting.

Due to the high risks and complexity associated with damaged wind turbine components, timely restoration of turbine operation is critical. The project site experiences some of the highest wind speeds in China, making lifting operations particularly challenging.
Despite adverse conditions, including the recurrence of COVID-19 in Xinjiang and complex site conditions, the project team carefully planned the lifting, transportation, safety, resource coordination, and emergency response measures. The project was successfully completed to a high standard and received unanimous recognition from the owner.

Strengthening the routine inspection and maintenance of wind farms is essential to ensuring the safe and stable operation of wind turbines and supporting the long-term development of the wind power industry.
Moving forward, Xiaocaohu Wind Farm will continue to enhance equipment maintenance, strengthen the training and development of its maintenance team, and contribute to the high-quality development of renewable energy in Xinjiang.
