1. RUISI 206MW Wind Power Project

The RUISI Wind Power Project is located on the Shida Kartli Plain in central Georgia, within the administrative area of Kareli District. The project area covers the municipalities of Gori and Kareli, approximately 100 km from the capital Tbilisi. The location offers favorable geographical conditions, convenient transportation access, and good grid connection conditions.

The project covers an area of approximately 7,000 hectares, with terrain mainly consisting of plains and gentle slopes. The region has a moderately humid climate, characterized by cold winters and relatively long, cool summers. It offers favorable climatic and wind resource conditions, making it suitable for large-scale wind power development.

The project has a planned total installed capacity of 206 MW and will install 33 Goldwind GW171-6.25MW wind turbine generators, each with a hub height of approximately 105 meters. This model represents one of the mainstream large-capacity onshore wind turbines in the international market, featuring high power generation efficiency, strong adaptability to low wind speeds, and a mature and reliable operational track record.

The turbine model is well matched to the local wind conditions, which will effectively increase the equivalent full-load hours while reducing the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE), thus providing strong support for the project’s economic performance and long-term stable operation.

The RUISI Wind Power Project is currently one of the largest wind power projects under construction in Georgia, marking an important milestone in the country’s energy transition process. After completion and commercial operation, the project is expected to deliver a significant amount of clean electricity to the national grid annually, sufficient to meet the yearly electricity demand of approximately 350,000 households.

By significantly reducing reliance on fossil fuels and lowering carbon dioxide emissions, the project will play a key role in meeting Georgia’s growing electricity demand and enhancing the country’s energy security.

2.ZEMO 18.75 MW Wind Power Project

The ZEMO Wind Power Project is located in Gori, Georgia, with a total installed capacity of 18.75 MW. The project aims to promote the development of clean energy in Georgia by making full use of the favorable local climate conditions to provide a sustainable power supply.

The project scope includes the installation of wind turbine generators, internal cable laying, and electrical system installation. The project plans to install three Goldwind GW171-6.25 wind turbine generators, each with a hub height of 105 meters.

The implementation of the Zemo Wind Power Project will not only provide a stable and clean power supply to Georgia, effectively alleviating regional electricity supply pressure, but will also further improve the local renewable energy infrastructure and enhance the construction and operation capabilities of wind power projects. At the same time, the project will stimulate the development of related industries, create employment opportunities, and promote local economic growth. It will also contribute positively to reducing dependence on fossil fuels and lowering greenhouse gas emissions, thereby strongly supporting Georgia’s long-term green energy and sustainable development goals.
