206MW RUISI  WIND FARM PORJECT

The RUISI Wind Power Project is located on the Shida Kartli Plain in central Georgia, within the administrative boundaries of the Kareli District. The project area covers the municipalities of Gori and Kareli and is approximately 100 kilometers from the capital city, Tbilisi. It benefits from a favorable location with good transportation access and grid connection conditions. The project site covers an area of about 7,000 hectares and features predominantly flat terrain and gentle slopes. The region has a moderately humid climate, with cold winters and long, relatively cool summers, providing suitable climatic and wind resource conditions for large-scale wind power development.

The project has a planned total installed capacity of 206 MW and will comprise 33 Goldwind GW171-6.25 MW wind turbine generators, each with a hub height of approximately 105 meters. This turbine model represents a mainstream large-capacity onshore wind turbine in the international market, offering high power generation efficiency, strong adaptability to low-wind-speed conditions, and proven, reliable operational performance. It is well suited to the local wind conditions, helping to increase equivalent full-load hours while reducing the levelized cost of electricity.

The RUISI Wind Power Project is one of the largest wind power projects currently under development in Georgia and represents an important milestone in the country’s energy transition. Once completed and commissioned, the project is expected to deliver a substantial amount of clean electricity to the national grid each year, meeting the annual electricity demand of approximately 350,000 households. By significantly reducing reliance on fossil fuels and lowering carbon dioxide emissions, the project will play a key role in addressing Georgia’s growing electricity demand and enhancing national energy security.

18.75 MW ZEMO  WIND FARM PORJECT

The Zemo Wind Power Project is located in Gori, Georgia, with a total installed capacity of 18.75 MW. This project aims to promote clean energy development in Georgia, harnessing the region's favorable climate conditions to provide sustainable electricity. The scope of the project includes turbine installation, internal cable laying, and electrical system installation. The project plans to install three Goldwind GW171-6.25/HH105m wind turbines.
